Livingstone Beach Restaurant (Shangani Road, Stone Town, Zanzibar City) – this restaurant & bar, which has a “happy hour” from 5-7 pm, popular during that time of day not just for the drink specials, but for the sunset (which is an attraction unto itself here). The venue itself is historic (it was the former site of the British consulate). In addition, live bands are often booked there.
